A Test Template for the 5th and 6th grade
Teachers should write the test according to what they have taught and the level of the class.
Before you begin, make a list of all the vocabulary items and grammar you want to test!
A. LISTENING (10-15 points)
Possible task types:

B. Vocabulary (20-25 points)
Possible task types:
A. Word level1. Match a word to a picture.
2. Circle the word that doesn't belong.
B- Sentence level1. Circle the suitable word to make a correct sentence.
2. Fill in the correct word in the sentence.
C .Grammar- (Not more than 20 points)
1. Circle the correct item .(verb, pronoun etc)
2. Fill in the correct item (pronoun, Be, article) with a word bank.
3. Write the correct form of the verb. (with or without a verb bank)
D. Reading (25-30 points)
Possible item types:
1. Yes/No statements which pupils need to copy a sentence that proves their answer.
2. Fill in information in a chart.
3. Complete a sentence.
4. Circle the correct answer.
5. Open ended questions.
6. Sequence the sentences.
Teachers need to make sure there are LOTS AND HOTS questions.
