It is our pleasure to invite you and all members of the Knights of Peter Claver and Knights of Peter Claver Ladies
Auxiliary, family members and friends to attend our 68th Annual Central States District Conference in Nashville, TN. We
look forward to welcoming you to the Diocese of Nashville home of Music City USA, four HBCUs, Fisk University,
Meharry Medical College, Tennessee State University, and American Baptist College. Nashville is the birthplace of the
popular Grand Ole Opry show, home of Nashville's Athena Parthenos, she stands an impressive 42 feet high in the
temple of the Parthenon (we’re known as the Athens of the South). Home of President Andrew Jackson, seventh
president of the United States and sports teams the Tennessee Titans, Nashville Predators, and Nashville Sounds.
The Conference site and Hotel is the Nashville Airport Marriott which is located at 600 Marriott Drive, Nashville, TN. This

CONFERENCE REGISTRATION
The conference registration fee is $100.00 per person as set forth by the Central States District. The registration fee
includes your ticket to the banquet and Brunch. Extra tickets for the banquet are at a cost of $45.00 per person and for
the brunch $25.00 per person. The Memorial Luncheon ticket is an additional cost of $35.00 per person.
Knights please submit the registration fees and forms with your council checks, money orders or cashier’s check made
payable to KPC District Conference Fund, forward to Knight James E. Callahan III, CSDC Financial Secretary, P.O. Box

Ladies please submit the registration fees and forms with your court checks, money orders or cashier’s check made
payable to KPCLA CSD Conference 2014, forward to Lady Sharon Sanders, CSDC Treasurer, 5838 Michigan Avenue,
Kansas City, Missouri, 64130.
Registration deadline Monday, March 31, 2014. Conference registration cancellations must be made prior to March 24,
2014. Please adhere to the deadline.
It is important that you send a copy of your Council/Court Check, Money order or Cashier’s Check along with the
Advertisement to the District Conference Registration Committee to P.O. Box 281191, Nashville, TN 37218.
Lodging
Please start making your reservations as soon possible by calling the Nashville Airport Marriott directly at 615-889-9300
or 1-800-236-2427 and request the rates for the Knights of Peter Claver, Inc. The rate is $119.00 for
Single/Double/Triple/Quad Rate Occupancy. The deadline for hotel reservations is April 11, 2014. Other information
concerning the hotel requirements is attached.
Souvenir Booklet
Detailed Information concerning the cost and requirements of the advertisement for the Souvenir Booklet is attached.

Transportation
The Nashville Airport Marriott has a complimentary shuttle from the Nashville International Airport to the hotel. Please
contact the hotel for information concerning shuttle service to the hotel, prior to or upon your arrival, at 615-889-9300.
Also Taxicab and Shuttle Service from the airport to the hotel is available at a reasonable rate fare. Information
concerning those services can be obtained at the airport upon your arrival.
T-Shirts
Commemorative T-Shirts will be available for purchase onsite. Please see the attached T-Shirt advertisement form.
