voter registration. He will be forwarding
additional new resident information, as well as
election day calling instructions when he gets
them from the Corbett Campaign
Communications – Barbara Lloyd reported for
Jen Schuler that the newsletter is 80% finished
and should arrive in Township homes on the
Friday before the election. Please e-mail any
additions or corrections to your district voter list
as soon as possible. Please check our website
for meeting hosts
The meeting was called to order with the Pledge
of Allegiance at 7:32 pm.
Minutes were approved as amended.
Treasurer – $9,033 in the treasury after a $15
payment to the USC High School for use of the
room for July’s meeting
Township Commissioner Bob Orchowski
discussed Township business including finances,
which are in good shape, Recreation Center,
which is operating in the black, wet weather
issues as they apply to the storm sewer system,
distribution of new recycling containers, and the
Consol property.
Chairman’s remarks – Barbara Lloyd thanked
Jerry Fulmer, Liz Walsh, Ann sjuman and Rndi
Bick for refreshments.
Ginny Macaul has resigned as
committeewoman.
Judge Bill Ward has been reappointed to Family
Court.
Barbara has created a new position of Assistant
Chair and appointed Natalie Mihalek to the
position. Natalie will handle assignments from
the chair as needed. This will not include
membership on the executive committee nor
presiding over meetings in the chairman’s
absence.
Events – Matoula Rice has resigned as chair of
this committee. Judy Brown moved to appoint
Natalie Mihalek as new Chair with Matoula Rice
seconding. The motion passed unanimously.
Republican Development – Jerry Fulmer
announced that October 6 is the last day for
Membership – Barbara Lloyd reported that we
have some potential members, and that Vidya
Craig has resigned.
Old Business – Barbara distributed a sign-up
sheet for a tour of the Range Resources
facilities.
