2015: Started in all 10 games… Led the team in tackles for the third straight season with 87 tackles (50
solos and 37 assists)…. Also added 2.5 tackles for losses… Had one interception and returned a fumble 61
yards for a touchdown (vs. Mississippi College)… Defended three passes and had two break-ups… Finished
his career ranked No. 3 in career tackles with 246 hits and No. 3 in career interceptions with 11 picks…

2015 All-GSC Preseason team selection… Named to five 2014 Preseason All-American teams
(D2Football.com, Hero Sports, InstantScouting, Football Gameplan and USA College Football).
2014: Turned in one of the best defensive performances ever in the 10-year history of the program... Led the
team in tackles for the second straight year with 53 solo hits and 36 assists... Led the team and the GSC
with a team-record eight interceptions and ranked fifth nationally... Had a record three picks against Mars
Hill, one that was returned for a record-tying 100 yards for a touchdown... Named the GSC Defensive Player
of the Week after his performance against Mars Hill... Forced two fumbles... Named the GSC's Defensive
Player of the Year and the only member of the First Team Defense that was a unanimous choice...Became
Shorter's first-ever player to be named to the AFCA Division II Coaches' All-America Team.... Selected to
Beyond Sports Network Division 2 Football All-Super Region 2 Team and BSN Division 2 All-America

Team... Finalist for Cliff Harris Award as nation's best small college defensive player.
2013: Moved over to the defensive side of the ball as a safety and ended the season leading the team in
tackles with 40 solo stops and 29 assists... Recorded six tackles for losses and had a sack... Forced two
fumbles and recovered one... Led team with two interceptions, including a 70-yard pick-six return against
