Primary Function:
This position is responsible for managing a Software Engineering team on specific assignments for the development of
software source code and associated documentation. Manager is responsible for developing information systems by designing,
developing, and installing software solutions as well as supervising the team members to develop solutions.
Essential Responsibilities:
1. Supervise training and development of software engineering staff.
2. Coordinate and direct projects, making detailed plans to accomplish goals and directing the integration of technical
activities.
3. Plan and direct the installation, testing, operation, maintenance, and repairs on software equipment.
4. Manages all software projects to be fully functional and meet company standards.
5. Direct, review, and approve product design and changes.
6. Mentors software devlopers on policies, procedures and technical issues.
7. Oversees code development and de-bugging for all projects.
8. Manages programming specifications and teaches programs of a technical nature.
9. Provide technical assistance as necessary for lower level team members.
10. Knowledgeable in database development and maintenance, specific experience with SQL2005 and newer.
11. Experience with 2003 and later .NET frameworks.
12. Ability to code in, understand, and implement C++ programs.
13. High level understanding and exposure to HTML, XML, and ASP.;NET.
Work Conditions:
Employee will be working mostly within an office environment. Employee may travel to work site locations where employee
will be expected to dress in appropriate manner to deal with clients and customers. Some travel will be necessary to meet the
requirements for the position.

Job Requirements:
Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or similar field from an accredited university.

8 or more years’ experience working as a software engineer/developer.

Ability to shift priorities and demands and timelines while still meeting all expectations and deadlines.

Ability to qualify for a Secret Clearance as necessary.

2 years of experience as a Lead Software Engineer/Developer.
