SOFTWARE REQUESTS/PERSONAL COMPUTER
a.
Personal computer applications are available from various
vendors. Quotations from the State of Alabama contract (Joint
Purchase Agreement) is available from the MIS Office.
Purchases from sources other than the state contract should be
made through the bookstore in order to comply with competitive
bid laws.
b.
In order to improve efficiency in sharing information, the
institution will use a standard software application suite. This
standard suite of applications will be the latest version of the
standard office application suite in use by businesses..
