Context/ Rationale: The Nurse Aide must understand their role as a member of the healthcare team. This role comes with
responsibility, professionalism, legal and ethical responsibilities. The student will work as a team in both classroom and clinical.
The student will develop understanding of scope of practice and skill to assist with ADL’s.
Lesson Length: 1-2 weeks (3-6 hours)
Prior Learning: The students should have general knowledge of the concepts of professionalism and team work.
