Vanda was South Africa’s Top Portuguese Designer at the age of just 22. She was given the

taking the pageantry of the Miss Portugal show to an international level. Vanda was the face for
a cosmetic house and their International Marketing Director. She moved to Atlanta and in 2000
she was nominated as Top Business Woman in Atlanta. Maintaining her South African ties, in
August of 2009 she was featured as Most Influential Woman in Business and Government in
South Africa, which led to a 3-city tour of Johannesburg, Cape Town and Durban as a featured
keynote speaker to the country’s most influential women. Today she continues to break down
the bridges that disempower women around the world. Vanda assists people in transforming
their lives by a process of reviving the true self and discovering aspects that empower them to

To Be A Woman Global Platform, Created to Help Women Rise Up Globally, Launches Signature Book
with Sequels in Discussion to Focus on South African Women Artisans and Australian Aborigines
The book, entitled, “To Be A Woman: 31 Essences to Honor Yourself,” is the Signature Book in the
Signature Soul Series™ Collection written by South African-born Vanda Teixeira, Founder and CEO of the
To Be A Woman Global Platform, who is currently based in Atlanta.
Atlanta, Georgia: November 17, 2013—Amidst great fanfare and among guests representing all corners
of the Earth, South-African born author, award-winning businesswoman and couturier, and futurist on
the economic empowerment of women and the women’s economy, Vanda Teixeira launched her
Signature “To Be A Woman” Book and her entire Soul Series™ Collection. The books were birthed to give
women around the world a clear road map on how to awaken the power within them to release the
blocks that get in the way of them achieving their goals and fulfilling their dreams. Guests of Honor
included Dr. Gerald L Durley, renowned human rights activist and mentee of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr,
and Dr. Felicia Mabuza (known as the Oprah of South Africa).
In the Soul Series Collection, Vanda shares her wisdom as a divine energy healer, particularly focusing on
how women can raise their divine feminine energy to empower their lives, rebalance their life and
relationships, and raise the love on the planet. Of the book, Dr. Durley said:
