CCDR Graduate Student Incentive Fund Application
Dear CCDR Member,
We are pleased to announce the first call for CCDR Graduate Student Incentive Funds.
CCDR Graduate Student Incentive Funds were established to fund students working on collaborative projects within
the CCDR research foci as a mechanism of promoting collaboration as well as resource- and knowledge-sharing across
research groups within the University of Toronto and the Toronto Academic Health Sciences Network.
The CCDR Graduate Student Incentive Fund will be awarded to a supervisor(s) to contribute to the stipend of a graduate
student.
Each CCDR Graduate Student Incentive Fund is valued at $15,000 with a funding duration of one year. Funds from this
competition will be awarded commencing August 1, 2015. Proof of student enrolment in a graduate program will be
required prior to disbursement of the fund.
Eligibility
Principal investigators who are Core Members of the CCDR are eligible to submit one application per collaborative
project. Although principal investigators can submit multiple applications, a maximum of one project may be funded per
research group. Supervisors will be eligible to apply for funds in subsequent years. Associate Members of the CCDR
are encouraged to act as co-applicants on collaborative projects.

Adjudication
Studentship applications will be adjudicated by a subcommittee of the CCDR.
Applications will be adjudicated on the following bases:
1. Scientific merit of the research project
2. Collaborative nature of research project
3. Fit with the CCDR research foci
