Single Acceleration Pre-Algebra Appeals Process: Qualify by accruing a minimum of 5 out of 10 possible RAMP criteria points listed below If you would like to appeal The RAMP committee decision to place your child in EDM 6; RAMP Criteria Fourth Grade MCA Math > 470 - 1 point 1. Complete the RAMP 6th Fifth Grade NWEA Scores: Math > 90% - 1 point Grade Appeal form Reading > 80% - 1 point AND 2. Sign your child up to take the 6th grade Math Fifth Grade CogAT: Quantitative + Non-Verbal 6 Appeal Test in > 132 - 3 points August. 122 > 131 - 2 points 115 > 121 - 1 point Double Accelerations Linear Algebra I Qualify by earning a minimum of 6 out of 8 possible RAMP criteria points listed below OR pass the Pre-Algebra Appeal Test with a score > 80%. This course may not be offered at the middle school.) Students completing Intermediate Algebra Honors will be enrolled in Geometry Honors if they meet the conditions of the contract which are listed below: • Minimum of a B in Intermediate Algebra Honors • Intermediate Algebra Honors Final > 80% • Teacher Recommendation
