Software Engineer
Clearance Required: Active Top Secret with Polygraph
Location: Fort Meade, MD
Anticipated Start Date: Spring 2015
PCI is actively interviewing candidates for several exciting new positions supporting our
government customer. The goal of this project is to support the customer in the
development of more effective means and less labor-intensive ways to detect, prevent
and respond to the ever growing and increasingly sophisticated set of cyber adversaries.
The skills and years of experience required for these positions range from entry level to
senior. Listed below are the customer requirements:
• Demonstrated experience developing, designing, coding, testing, and debugging with
the following programming languages or specialized software: Java, JavaScript, C,
C++, Sleigh, Ruby / Ruby-on-Rails, SQL, XML, Perl, Python, Dreamweaver, VMWare,
Hadoop and Xilinx development tools.
• Demonstrated experience developing, designing, coding, testing, and debugging with
the following technologies: Web Applications, GUI Development, Cloud Computing,
Hadoop /MapReduce, Natural Language Processing, TCP/IP, Wireless Protocols, Digital
Signal Processing and Optical Networking.
• Experience with designing developing and modifying software systems using scientific
analysis and mathematical models
• Experience with design and implementation of complex database or data repository
interfaces/queries
• Experience working in a signals technology environment
• Experience with design and implementation of complex algorithms
• Experience with oversight of multiple software development teams
Education
B.S. in Computer Science or related discipline
Software Engineering experience can be substituted for a bachelor’s degree
