System Integration Engineer

PCI was awarded a Prime contract supporting the Agency's Research Directorate!
We are actively interviewing candidates for several exciting new positions supporting our
government customer. The goal of this project is to support the customer in the
development of more effective means and less labor-intensive ways to detect, prevent
and respond to the ever growing and increasingly sophisticated set of cyber adversaries.
The skills and years of experience required for these positions range from entry level to
senior. Listed below are the customer requirements:
• Experience with software/hardware systems development projects with multiple
architectures and platforms in an integrated environment
• Experience with the development of prototypes of higher-order and cross-platform
analytics, dynamic analytical management and mixed initiative analysis constructs
• Experience with developing prototype systems for large scale data analysis,
implementation of dynamic analytical management capabilities, video-image-cross
media analytics
• Programming experience with Java, C and C++ in a Linux environment
• Experience with development of user interfaces
• Experience managing data flows, integration technologies and maintaining system
environments on mid to large scale projects
• Experience designing applications and developing interfaces between the following:
Accumulo/HBase, Infospheres Streams, Tomcat and Hadoop/MapReduce
• Experience with end-to-end component and system test & integration
Education
Degree in computer science or related discipline
Programming experience on projects with full lifecycle processes can be substituted for a degree
