You are data wrangler, data scientist, or decision engineer who seeks difficult problems to solve and is
motivated to constantly learn. You understands how to integrate multiple systems and data sets, allowing
you to link and mash up distinctive data sets to discover new insights.
PCI is looking for junior to mid-level candidates with experience in any of the technologies below,
especially those with backgrounds in statistics, machine learning, and predictive analytics. This could be
your opportunity to play with exciting technologies you've been dying to learn, and also a chance to join

 If you love virtualization and understand why it's important
 If you are thinking about what language you want to learn next (Clojure, Ruby, Scala, R, Go, etc.)
 If you find yourself playing with MongoDB one day, and then Vaadin, or Avro or Protobuf or
Angular.js or node.js another day
 If you think that Hadoop is a bit clunky and are excited about technology like BDAS
 If you know what Kaggle is (especially if you have competed)
Requirements:
You should have experience with most of the following.
 Strong Java development background
 Hadoop MapReduce analytic development experience:
o Java M/R development
or
o Pig M/R development
 Web development experience
 Linux experience (CentOS, RedHat, Ubuntu, etc.)
 Relational database experience
 Experience in an agile development environment/team
 Experience with graphing, charting and data visualization
 Experience with web services and REST interfaces
 Experience with standard development tools like:
o Eclipse, IntelliJ IDEA, NetBeans, Spring Tool Suite, etc.
o Maven, Ant, Gradle, etc.
o CVS, Subversion/SVN, Git
Bonuses:
 JavaScript framework experience:
o Knockout, Ember, Angular, Backbone, Bootstrap, jQuery, Foundation, etc.
 Advanced/custom visualization (D3, Raphael, SVG, etc.)
 Experience with NoSQL technology (Accumulo, HBase, Cassandra, MongoDB, etc.)
 Scripting experience (Python, Perl, Bash, Ruby, etc.)
 Strong statistics background
 Streaming technologies like:
o Storm, S4, IBM Info Streams, Spark Streaming
 SIGINT experience
 Have your own tech blog
 Active open source contributions
