NIS-Change Impact Analysis Manager (Columbus, Ohio) #915776 Introduction Purpose: The Change Impact Analysis Manager will lead efforts to identify specific end-user changes and establish change plans across a portfolio of IT projects planned over the next 24 months to establish separate IT infrastructure and applications for Columbia Pipeline Group (CPG). NiSource has announced their intent to spin off CPG in mid-2015. A full time NiSource change management team will be established to support the successful deployment of over 500 applications to employees. The development of customized change plans will drive successful adoption of technologies while minimizing business disruption. The incumbent will partner with other members of the change team and provide leadership to external consultants and collaborate with Application Project Managers to identify change impacts and design change solutions. Responsibilities Key outcomes for success include: Accurate and thorough identification of change impacts by end user population for specific applications and deployments. Strong collaboration with Application Project Managers and the broader Training, Change Network and Communications team. Specific change management plans to provide stakeholders with what information and action is pertinent for them. Employees understand what to expect and what specific actions they need to take in specific timeframes throughout the transition. Key Responsibilities: Lead the design and implementation of identifying end user impacts forchanges to business processes, systems and technology interfaces for all stakeholder audiences across a broad portfolio of IT projects. Identify potential people risks and anticipated points of resistance based on degree of change, and develop specific plans to mitigate or address the concerns. Develop detailed change management plans for each application and deployment that addresses specific stakeholder audience impacts and degree of change. Work with functional application teams and the broader change management team to scope training and communication requirements to support change management plans. Build and manage against an approved workplan, meeting critical deadlines in a fast-paced, complex project team environment. Work with other team members to develop and deliver change management plans and activities, leveraging existing Organizational Change Management (OCM) methodology and tools. Provide leadership to supporting consulting team and models strong collaboration across the broader change management and technical teams. Selection Criteria Bachelor's degree Minimum of 5+ years experience in a role demonstrating solid technical change management experience Strong analytic and decision making abilities Familiarity with the stages and associated change management actions of an IT project Experience working in a project-based, complex change management and/or organization development environment.
