MPSA MEETING AGENDA March 5th, 2012 I. II. Review of Minutes (February 2012) Review of Treasurer’s Report (February 2012) III. Report from Executive Board a. The Board is seeking nominations for the entire Executive Board for 2012-2013 school year. All Board members may serve a 2 year term limit. The Recording secretary has reached that term. I have received 1 nomination for the election to date. Nominations can be given to Shannon Scott or Dawn Durham. Please take the time to put your nominations in the box. We will be voting at April’s meeting. b. The PTO expo is March 15th in Reading, Pa. Tickets have been purchased for the following people. Shannon Scott, Dawn Durham, Nichole O’Goreman, Ashley Bullers, Kelli Flickinger and Laura Updegrave c. The Board received field trip request from second grade and fourth grade. Second grade will going to the Whitaker Center. The cost will be $10.50 per student with 60 students comes to a total of $630.00. We will pay for 3 teachers as well. We did tell the second grade that parents need to cover the cost of themselves. Fourth grade will go to the capital this year. Their estimated cost will be around $200.00. IV. Old Business a. Isaac’s went very well. We did a total of $923.74 in sales. The MPSA received $230.94 in profit. A big Thank You to Mrs. Bangert, Mrs. Wolf, Miss Sutherland and Mrs. Lopez for attending this night! To date we have received $1083.44 from all of the community nights. b. Quarter Day went very well. Thanks to all who participated! The grand total of quarter day sales was $253.66. c. Family Night was very well attended! There were 133 skate rentals and 75 snack bar coupons. Our total cost was $463.00. A big Thank you to Mrs. Todd and Mr. Singleton for coming out! d. May Fair Meeting update. V. New Business a. The Eggs and Baby Chick assembly was today for all grades. The baby eggs will be arriving on the March 12th. b. Mrs. Lopez c. Community Night will be held at Arooga’s Restaurant on March 20th. This will be an all day event. d. Missie will need some Dad volunteers for Mom’s and Muffins.
