Managerial Report Use the numerical methods of descriptive statistics presented in this chapter to learn how these variables contribute to the success of a motion picture. Include the following in your report.

1. Descriptive statistics for each of the four variables along with a discussion of what the descriptive statistics tell us about the motion picture industry.

2. What motion picture, if any, should be considered high performance outliers?

3. Descriptive statistics showing the relationship between total gross sales and each of the other variables. Discuss.

The relationship of total gross sales and the other variables can be expressed by the regression equation

The number of theaters is not a significant variable. For every 1$ increase in opening gross sales the total gross sales increases by $3.065. For every 1 day increase in number of days in top 60, the increase in total gross sales 1.11 units.
