We hope all the children have a happy, exciting Karen (our Management Team). She will job-share this position with Fiona Reynolds who previously shared this role with Sue. Summer Holiday Club We have enjoyed another successful Summer Holiday Club within Cabin Crew. We provided a wide variety of activities including our hugely popular trips. This summer saw children visiting The National Railway Museum, Archers Ice 1 Cream Parlour and the Forum Cinema. Holiday Club Our Holiday Club is available to any children (irrespective of their primary school) aged 4-11 and is open from 7.30am to 6pm. We also offer a popular middle session from 8.45am to 4.15pm at £19. Our brochure and booking form for October half term will be available over the next few weeks. First Half of Autumn Term Pre-School will be using the book ‘The Princess and the Pea’ as a focus for this half term, as well as ‘Me, Myself and I’ as we reacquaint and/or get to know one another. Cabin will be thinking of ‘New Beginnings’ as their focus. They will be asking the children for their ideas and interests for future topics and themes. Both Cabin’s and Pre-School’s sessions are based around the children’s interests and therefore mainly child initiated, they are often spontaneous but above all they are lots of fun! Fundraising update As a Registered Charity we rely on fundraising to purchase resources. Over the last academic year we raised £2,046. This was from our popular Christmas Fayre and Chocolate Hampers, Easter Hamper Draw, 10th Anniversary Coffee Morning and Family Fun Day.
