Dear Parents and Carers,
This year our school report format has changed. The Staff along with Ms Gentleman decided to make our school reports more
concise. Students have received a comment in English and Mathematics as well as a General Comment. In the Key Learning
Areas of HSIE (Human Society and Its Environment), PDHPE (Personal Development, Health and Physical Education), CAPA
(Creative and Performing Arts) and Science and Technology, a grade is given for achievement and for effort.
You will have the opportunity to discuss your child’s report with his/her class teacher in Week 2 of Term 3 when we will be holding
Parent/Teacher interviews. A timetable for interviews has been organised for each class. The interview will also provide you and
the teacher the opportunity to discuss any other important issues relating to your child.
Please complete the attached form to indicate your preferred time for an interview. Phone interviews can be arranged with the
class teacher if you are unable to visit the school. Teachers will do their best to liaise with each other to arrange appointments for
parents who have more than one child in the school.
If you have a child in years 3-6 we would like your child to be present at the interview.
