Description
Comic Strip – Create a multi-box comic strip that uses
at least 5 of your vocabulary words from this unit. It
should show that you clearly understand the content.

great comic strip templates.
Science Test – Create a multiple choice test and
answer key. You must have 10 multiple choice
questions and one diagram to label.
Shake ‘n Quake – Complete the Insta-Lab experiment
on page 355 of your Science book. You must bring in
materials for the experiment, demonstrate it to the
class, and explain how it models an earthquake.

could be put into a non-fiction text about one of the
topics from this unit. This should look like a textbook
page with vocabulary, diagrams,
illustrations/photographs, captions, etc.

Top Ten List – Research and type a list of the top 10
something (volcanoes, earthquakes, or mountains).
Your list should include at least 2 facts about each
item on the list. These could include features,
locations, etc. Start with #10 and move down the list to
#1. Make your list Science based (tallest, greatest
magnitude, most destructive, etc.) Your list may be
written, typed, or in a PowerPoint presentation.
Original Poem or Song – Write an original poem or
song about a topic from this unit, correctly using at
least 5 vocabulary words. Keep in mine that just
including the word in the poem or song is not enough!
You must show that you understand the meaning of
the words. You must read or preform the poem or
song to the class.
Earth’s Layers – Create a three-dimensional model of
the layers of Earth. Label each of the layers and
describe each of the layers to the class.










