Are you looking for new ways to raise money for your chapter?
Here’s How CharityBuzz Works
WHO:
LDEI Members, Chapters, friends and business associates that want to participate in the
online auction to benefit LDEI fundraising efforts
WHAT:
Donate an exciting and exclusive experience to be auctioned off online!
** Value of the donation must be a minimum of $500.
Chapter Benefit: 20% of the purchase price will be donated to your chapter!
WHERE:
In front of a community of 100,000 registered bidders on www.charitybuzz.com
WHEN:
The online auction will run from November 18 to December 9, 2014.
*Donation forms are due by midnight on November 07, 2014*
HOW: A Step-by-step process:
1. Brainstorm a unique experience: A city gastronomic tour package, a case of fine wine, a dinner
worth $500+, lessons, exclusive experiences and tastings, classes, a consultation, a trip using
mileage you don’t need, a cruise, you name it
2. Gather the details – Confirm the experience, including any exclusions, and estimated retail value.
Pictures are great too.
3. Fill out the donation form @ http://donations.charitybuzz.com
LDEI’s Concierge, Olivia Barry at obarry@charitybuzz.com or 646.998.6164, will help with any questions or
problems
4. You must list LDEI as the charity beneficiary.
5. Once your donation form is submitted, you will receive a preview link for your review and
approval.
6. Once approved, the item will entered into the auction.
7. After the item is purchased, Charitybuzz will handle all the details for fulfillment.
8. Once the auction is closed, your chapter will receive a check for 20% of the net purchase price of
the donated item.
