Banstead Infant School
Use and planned use of Sports Premium Funding
Funding received September 2013 – July 2014
Many of the activities outlined below will begin in the school year 2013-14 but will continue into
2014-15. It will not be possible to identify the impact of all the activities until the end of 2015.
We believe that the best way to spend the funding is to enhance teachers’ skills by working with
professional coaches and specialists. We aim to raise standards and to inspire our children to want to take part in
sport and to join sports clubs. We believe that taking part in sport is an important part of a healthy lifestyle. In
addition we believe that children benefit from being active outside and will therefore be developing the use of our
woodland area.
Funding Due to be received: £8,800
