Special Projects and Tasks Lead the project of the first "National census for SMEs in Egypt (2009-2011) Led the project of the first national census of SMEs in Egypt in cooperation with CBE and CAPMAS, recognizing the important role of SMEs in economic development and employment. The CBE led in December 2008 an initiative, as an integral part of the second phase of the banking sector reform to enhance SMEs access to finance and the national census was the corner stone of this initiative. Egyptian Banking Institute International Accreditation (2006-2008) Led a group of experts in the Egyptian Banking Institute (EBI) and BEARING point consultants to achieve international accreditation. Now, EBI is given the distinction of being the first ACCET accredited banking and financial training institute in Egypt and the region. This distinctive advantage allows EBI to satisfy professional certification and development qualifications for continuing education units for all its training courses as well as credit hours of its certificates. Initiative in Financial Education (2005) 3 To spread financial education and inclusion among the Egyptian Youth, in cooperation with Egyptian Banking institute, OECD and CYFI.
