POST 65 RECEIVES
2014 NATIONAL COMMANDER’S APPRECIATION CERTIFICATE
Vice Commander Bill Lytle and Commander Bill Lagermann display the award Post 65 received
from National Commander Daniel M. Dillinger. Metcalfe County Post 65 had 100% annual
membership renewals.
Commander Bill Lagermann announced at the May 10 meeting that Mike Phelps has
resigned as the Kentucky Department Adjutant due to his wife’s poor health. Phelps
replacement is Ted Austin.
At the May meeting the Post discussed the upcoming Memorial Day program at the
Historic Edmonton Courthouse. The time has been changed from 1:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.
The public is encouraged to attend.

Paula Clemons is taking over the Adjutant position from Gene Avery, and
Jack Vrocher will take over for Toni Cory as Judge Advocate. Post 65 is
grateful to Gene and Toni for their service to the Post. Mike Clemons is the
new Service Officer. Paula and Mike are relatively new members and the Post
is happy that they are willing to serve as officers.
