Notes: Please be aware that there are only two members of
each unit added to the Continental Line Officer’s Mess Yahoo
group. Those members are the Unit Commander and the
Second/Adjutant. If your unit would like a specific person
other than the Commander or Second/Adjutant added to the
Officer’s Mess, please make note of it on this census and
designate who should not be added (Unit Commander or
Second/Adjutant). Once again, only two members from each
unit will have access to the Officer’s Mess.
Active Men-at-Arms are classified as any member of your unit
who carries a musket (saber, artillery crew, etc.) and has been
to an event in the last three years.
Inactive Men-at-Arms are classified as any member of your
unit who carries a musket (saber, artillery crew, etc.) and has
not been to an event in the last three years.
Distaff are classified as members filling any role other than the
above listed roles. Active/inactive status does not need to be
classified.
While an accurate headcount of your members is appreciated,
an approximate one will certainly be acceptable. The
Continental Line is simply trying to get a rough idea of the
number of people that belong to the member units in our
organization. Your assistance in acquiring this statistic is
greatly appreciated!
