(the fold should have created 6 layers or flaps) 2- Turn the folded pieces upside down, making sure they all stay together, and put a staple in each corner. 3- Using a coloring pencil, marker or ink pen, on the first layer, write the title “Rock Cycle” 4- On the second layer, write “Heat & Pressure” 5- On the third layer, write “Weathering” 6- On the 4th layer, write “Erosion” 7- On the 5th layer, write “compacting” 8- On the 6th layer, write “cementing 9- Fold the first layer “rock cycle” up. You should now be looking at the “Heat & Pressure” layer. 10- On the top of the heat and pressure layer, write “with heat and pressure an igneous rock or sedimentary rock is changed into a metamorphic rock. 11- Now, fold up the heat and pressure layer, you should be looking at the weathering layer. Write “the breaking down of rocks” 12- Fold the weathering layer, you should be looking at the erosion layer. 13- On the erosion layer, write When wind, water, ice and gravity move pieces of rock and soil 14- Then you should draw the diagram below, being sure to label. Water Wind Gravity Ice Fold over the erosion layer and you should now be looking at the compacting layer. On this layer, write “squeezes layers of rock” Then make sure to add the drawing with labels below.
