Some documents may need to be returned to the University before you arrive.
New students: upload a photograph
If you have not already done so, please upload a photograph of yourself using the e@pplicant page
following the online instructions. This photo will appear on your University Card, which is issued to
you when you attend the University Card Collection session this week. Without this photo, your
University Card cannot be produced.
NB: this is not required if you already have a University Card because you were previously a
student on another course or at a Partner College. Your University Card will remain valid for the
duration of your studies at Plymouth University.

You must complete Online Enrolment as soon as possible and prior to collecting your University
Card.

A short presentation on the University library from the
Psychology Information Specialist to inform you of the library’s
layout, opening times and services, together with an introduction
on how to search for books, journals and other materials using
the ‘Primo’ system and the IT Tutorials for help with using
Moodle.

Meet Project Supervisors / Personal Tutors - All stage 4 students arrange to meet
your Project Supervisor and Personal Tutor.

Go to your Project Supervisor’s and Personal Tutor’s office and, if they operate a
sign-up system, sign up for a meeting or email your tutor to arrange a meeting.
Lists of Project Supervisors are on the PSYC405 Moodle page.
Lists of Personal Tutors are on the Programme Moodle page under Stage 4. Also
check your university email. Tutor’s email addresses are in the Stage 4 Handbook.
Don’t miss these key events led by the Students’ Union (UPSU). These events run all day so
you can drop in whenever you’re free:
Volunteer Fair – Tuesday 22 September in the campus marquees.
Make a difference in the local community and have a great time. Drop in to the Volunteer Fair and
learn more about the opportunities available from UPSU.
Sports & Societies Fair – Wednesday 23 September. Roland Levinsky Building and campus
marquees.
An opportunity to find out about all the UPSU societies and sports clubs, and to sign up. Joining any one
