The course is designed for learners at pre-intermediate to intermediate level. It provides students the general computing language skills required to express themselves in the Tourism sector. At the end of the course, students will be able to: - exchange information about hotel jobs and duties. - get information about the usage travel and tourism facilities, - compare and contrast different travel types, food and holiday types - read and follow instructions, - match different ideas about the travel itineraries , travel types of and jobs in tourism, - ask and answer questions about accommodation, service food and beverages - guess the meaning of unknown words from texts and answer the comprehension questions, - express ideas in a written format about any argument, related to hotel and tourism management - describe objects with correct usage of grammatical rules. This course includes activities aiming to improve vocabulary, structure and communicative skills before all else in their specialized area, tourism, at preintermediate level. These activities are about various themes such as types and parts of hotels, travel and recreation words. Various subjects such as; careers in tourism and catering and travel in order to make students be aware of working environment in this field.
