The subject matter must fall between the dates of 753 BC and 450 AD and must reflect ancient Roman, Greek or Egyptian
culture. Other cultures such as ancient Britain may be used if related to the Roman Empire.

Illustrated writing (i.e.: children’s Latin alphabet book or numbers book; illustrated story describing your family, etc.)
Audio-Visual project categories:
Videos: create dramatization and perform. 5-7 min. max.
Computer projects: see State and National rules
Oral and costume project categories
dramatic readings (memorize a Latin story & recite for judges; check NJCL.org for passages)
declamations (4-5 min. original monologue representing a mythological or historical character)
orations (formal English speech)
