The programme transforms food culture and the food system that supports it by working on all key aspects of food health, economy and sustainability simultaneously at a local level. The Sustainable Food Cities Network - sustainablefoodcities.org - facilitates learning and exchange of best practice amongst members. In less than 3 years, the number of places taking this approach in the UK and becoming active members of the Network has grown from 4 to 40. Results: Insufficient space here to include outputs and outcomes of the programme, as they are too numerous and differ from place to place.
