Speaker’s Edge for Undergraduates 2015 Sponsored and coordinated by The Lott Leadership Institute I, January 15-16, 2015 Winter session Dates: January 5-16, 2015 For 11 years, the Ole Miss Speaker’s Edge for MBA students has provided invaluable communication development training for students within the MBA program. Now, a required class for graduation, Speaker’s Edge has become a premiere experience within the MBA curriculum. Speaker’s Edge is a powerful alumni/community development tool as well – inviting alumni and industry leaders to join us judges. The stand and deliver, competitive format hones an invaluable and real world skill- set. It is an intense, exciting and challenging two weeks culminating in an awards ceremony at which a champion is named in each event (Informative, Market Place Pitch and Ethical Dilemmas*) and a Speaker’s Edge Champion is named for both the Graduate and Undergraduate Competition. The Undergraduate Speaker’s Edge will run concurrently with the MBA/Accounting Speaker’s Edge. Students receive coaching from world-class professionals and are guided in the preparation and development stages prior to the competition.
