CALL TO ORDER, ROLL CALL AND PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
The meeting was called to order by James Zanayed at 6:06 p.m. in the Heritage Room in the Holmes
Student Center. Senate Clerk Chad Harris conducted a roll call of Senators. Present in the Audience was
members of the executive cabinet, plus Senators At Large to be, and Associate Vice President Dr. John R.
Jones. with a quorum present, the meeting proceeded. Speaker Zanayed asked Senator Gonzalez to
lead in the Pledge of Allegiance.
MEETING AND AGENDA APPROVAL
Speaker Zanayed motions to approve last meetings minutes. Speaker Zanayed motions to move agenda
items C, E, F, G, H, J, K from new business to old business and to pass the items as consent agenda.
Motion passes.
SPEAKER’S REPORT



Moving the Veto’d Bill to next week to allow more senators to voice opinions.
Hopes to appoint Mike Theodore to Chief of Staff.
