When do I use the Transfer Consultation form?
1. The transfer consultation is a service provided for transfer students who would like to know how
much credit might be granted before applying for admission.
2. Applicants and current students should not use this form since an official evaluation will be
completed during the admissions process upon receipt of the student’s official transcripts.
What are some Guidelines I need to be aware of before submitting this type of request?
1. Please provide copies of your college transcripts (front and back). The transcripts do not need to
be official. The record must indicate a course title, course number, letter grade, number of
credits, and enrollment date. Military personnel should send a copy of their JST or other
appropriate transcripts. To request a military transcript, go to this web address:
https://jst.doded.mil/smart/signIn.do.
2. The Request Form and transcripts should be sent together either by fax, mail, or email to the
contact information provided below. Please be sure to include the Request Form and all
transcripts. If transcripts are sent separately from the request form, please indicate below.
3. Please send a transcript for each college attended. It is not possible to give an accurate
consultation based on the evaluation of another college.

Who evaluates my request and how long does it take to process?
1. The Transfer Consultant will do the evaluation, and an Admissions Counselor will contact you
within a week. If an email address is not provided, the consultation will be mailed. The
consultation is unofficial. The results cannot be appealed. We make every effort to insure
the accuracy of this consultation, however, there is always the possibility the results may
differ from your official transcript evaluation since we are working with unofficial
documents.
