The Emory Critical Care Center has an opening for the Director of the Physician Assistant (PA) Residency Program in Critical Care Medicine. This PA will serve along side of Heather Meissen, ACNP, CCRN and will be the co-director of a thriving, combined Nurse Practitioner (NP) and PA residency program. The Program has just completed the interviewing process for the next class which starts in January 2015. Twenty-two applications were received for three residency positions. So far the program has matriculated twenty-three residents in three years. Thirteen NP/PA residents have completed the training and most have stayed as employees in the ICUs within the Emory Healthcare system.
