SALE OF SURPLUS BOOKS
1.
The District is offering for sale surplus textbooks.
2.
All books are in cardboard boxes and located at McKinley Elementary School Gym, 3702
McKinley Ave, Tacoma, WA 98404. This school site is now vacant.
3.
This year’s sale includes math materials.
4.
Attachment A to this document lists the titles and estimated quantities. The actual number of
books available is more than those listed.
5.
Book Visual Tour: You may view the books at the McKinley Gym by contacting Napoleon
Williams at 253-571-3381 to schedule an appointment. The building is not normally open, so
you must have an appointment in order to view the books so that there will be someone on the
premises to let you into the building.
6.
The successful bidder must take all of textbooks and related materials located in the McKinley
Gym. All materials must be removed by no later than Thursday, August 14, 2014.
7.
Bidders are to submit one price for all of the books available. An award will be made to one
bidder for all of the books, dependent upon the best interest of the District.
