Good evening, Well the end of the year is near and I wanted to give you all a (bulleted) little update. *Thanks to Trudy Odgers for hosting our pasta party last week. By the sounds of it the boys had a good time and although Bittner had a minor lower leg injury it propelled him to his lowest score of his varsity career, posting a 39 in the final home match last Thursday. In typical Bittner fashion, the round ended in a “Bittner fist pump”. *Congrats to Ryan, Josh and Tim for a great career at MCC, I hope you all close out your SOL career in style at 5-ponds tomorrow! *Anyone who was interested in a golf bag this season I haven’t forgot about you. My “friends’ at Titleist have really drug their feet with the order. The boys will have their golf bags later this fall. I apologize about the delay and it looks like we’ll be working with Taylor made in the future! ;) here's a link to a nice write up from Monday's match against BHS and THS. http://www.buckscountycouriertimes.com/sports/highschool/fall/boys-golf/golf-bensalem-gets-revenge-over-truman-neshaminysweeps/article_b64ba54e-60b8-11e5-bbac-2769c8bdbf20.html *We’ve beat Pennsbury two times in one year for the fist time in at least 5 years. And we've solidified the third best record in the league behind the Council Rock schools.... Nice job golfers!! http://suburbanonesports.com/sports/golf-boys *Thanks to all the parents who have donated water and snacks…it’s much appreciated! The SOL tournament is on Monday (9/28) check out to see where our players rank. The top 88 boys qualify. http://www.neshaminy.org//site/Default.aspx?PageID=1344 In the coming weeks we have some fun stuff to look forward to: An inter squad “Ryder cup”, “challenge a teacher” (juniors and seniors only), a ‘fun match” with Hatboro Horsham and at least a couple more 9 hole practices. Finally, we have a fundraiser at home coming (details to come) and our season ending banquet coming up in November (details to come). If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to email me. Its been a great season and the boys have locked up a winning season. I’m proud of them and thankful for all your efforts and sacrifices. Take care, -Dave
