TENDER NOTICE: PROCUREMENT OF BLACK REFUGE BAGS (HOUSEHOLD)
Tenders are hereby invited for the procurement of black refuse bags to be delivered at Matzikama Municipality, in
Vredendal.

All materials and equipment must comply with SABS standards.
Tenders must be valid for 90 days. Tenders will be evaluated in terms of the Matzikama Municipal Supply Chain
Management Policy.
Allocation of preference points will be as follows:
• Price: 80
• BBBEE level of contribution: 20
The 80/20 preference point’s acquisition formula set out in the Regulations of PPPFA 2011 will be used to evaluate the tender. Points will be awarded to bidders for the procurement of their BBBEE status. Tenderers must submit an original and valid tax clearance certificate, issued by the South African Revenue Service, with the tender document if.
Tenderers must be on the database (under the Supply Chain Management policy) of Matzikama Municipality registered / registerable be tender and awards will take place under this policy

Tender document are available at the Procurement Division (SCM) of Matzikama Municipality at 37 Church Street,
Vredendal, 8160 and a non-refundable deposit of R150, 00 in the form of cash or bank-guaranteed check payable to the Matzikama Municipality is required on collection of the tender document.
Sealed tenders to be placed in the tender box marked "T26/2015: “PROCUREMENT OF BLACK REFUSE BAGS
(HOUSEHOLD)" on or before 18 December 2015 at 12:00 DURING office hours by the entrance at the Municipal
Offices (Finance) on the corner of Church- and Van Riebeeck Street, 37 Church Street Vredendal, which will be opened in public. Late, faxed or e-mailed proposals will not be considered.
Canvassing of bid evaluations committee members or any officer in the service of the municipality is an ethical violation and may result in a tender is automatically disqualified. The Council reserves the right not to accept the lowest or any tender
