Celebrate the female spirit by shaking, hip-locking and whirling your frustrations away. Sisters Yoga provides a safe space to tap into your feminine mystique and expressive energy. A great workout, especially for the hips, tummy and arms! No belly dance experience necessary. Chill-out (Gentle/Restorative). Escape for an hour as you practice restorative Chill out Yoga yoga poses that encourage healing and improved flexibility. Poses are held longer (gentle/restorative/prenatal) (Yin) and the use of props is encouraged. Just your body, your breath and a smile. This class is for the yoga newbie (great for the Baby Boomer community or the pregnant student!) as well as anyone wanting to massage their body from the inside out. Here, we focus on the importance of introspection, the beauty of the breath and quintessential quietude. This class is for everyone. It is also a more traditional yoga class. How you feel physically determines how you feel mentally. How you feel mentally determines how you feel physically--and thus the mind/body mixer. We will also incorporate power yoga. Pilates Mat (all abilities) Work on your core strength. Boost overall toning from mat pilates. A stronger core helps you in your yoga practice. Work on your 6 pack (ok, any "pack" will do) Good workout! So, do you have the guts? Let us help you pursue a stronger you! Yog-Abs! (Yoga/Abs)This is a class where you work on both your breath AND belly! Enjoy a combination of core-strengthening exercises mixed with the toning, lengthening, strengthening and calming practice of yoga. Find your center and then work it out! Yo-God!
