Preparation for the reception of the Sacrament of First Reconciliation and First
Communion occurs in several ways. First, our CCD program prepares those students who
attend a non- Catholic school or those home schooled children who wish to attend the
program. Home schooled children may receive instruction through an approved home
school curriculum. Parents of home schooled children should contact the Parish Office
for any additional requirements. Thos students who attend Catholic schools receive their
sacramental preparation through their school. No additional instruction is required.
Following is a schedule of First Reconciliation and First Communion event dates. This
schedule includes instructional sessions that apply only to CCD students (or those home
schooled students who choose to attend the sessions). The dates in GREEN apply to all
students who will receive the sacraments at St. Mary Magdalen Church.
