Becoming a Friend of the Libraries
at Pratt is a wonderful way to
make an important contribution to
education while at the same time
treating yourself to use of the
resources of a fine collection built
over a century and situated in a
handsome Renaissance Revival
library building, and before, in the
Main Building.
This is an excellent time to make
a donation to help us build
available information resources to
embark upon a successful second
century. Not only is your gift
tax-deductible to the fullest
extend of the law, but it will pay
dividends in terms of a stronger
educational support program for
Pratt students today and
tomorrow.

Friends of the Pratt Institute Libraries
There are several categories of Friends of the Libraries.
They are as follows:
Alumni/ae, Regular, Sustaining, Patron and Benefactor.
Alumni:
Former Pratt students must first have an alumni card for campus access. This
allows for use of the library, with no borrowing privileges. The Alumni Card
must be applied for at the Office of Alumni Relations Office, Brooklyn Campus,
Myrtle Hall 3W. Telephone: (718) 399-4447.
Alumni who wish to have limited borrowing privileges at the Pratt Library may
join for $50 per year. They may borrow two books at a time. Certain materials
(such as slides, DVDs, equipment) do not circulate.
Regular:
For $100 per year, non-alumni have use of the library and may borrow two books
at a time.
Sustaining:
Patron:
Benefactor:
For $250 per year, non-alumni have use of the library and may borrow four
books at a time.
A donation of at least $500 per year secures all the privileges of Sustaining
Friends, in addition to personalized book plates in five new library acquisitions.
Donations of at least $1,000 per year. These donors are included in the
President’s Circle and are invited to a formal dinner each year.
