President:
(a) Presides at all Chapter and Chapter Board meetings and promotes the aims and purposes of the
Association. (b) Assigns responsibility to elected and appointed officers to foster the accomplishment of
Chapter goals and objectives. (c) Exercises general supervisory responsibility over the other elected and
appointed officers. (d) Maintains the continuity of Chapter activities by ensuring the election of successors to
Chapter officers. (e) Maintains the Chapter Charter.
Vice-President
(a) Works with President to ensure Chapter goals and objectives are met. (b) Ensures Chapter Bylaws
are updated as necessary. (c) Assumes other duties as assigned by the President.
Secretary:
(a) Records the minutes and business decisions of the Chapter and assures the availability of the
minutes for each regular meeting of the Chapter or Chapter Board. (b) Exercises general supervisory
responsibility over the Newsletter Chairperson, the Bylaws Chair, Antelope Valley Chapter Home Page Chair,
and other committees as may be created or deemed appropriate by the Chapter Board and assigned by the
President. Maintains the Chapter Book of Bylaws. (c) Assumes other duties as assigned by the President.
Treasurer:
(a) Prepares the Chapter budget. (b) Collects dues and submits a monthly treasurer's report. (c)
Maintains the Chapter bank accounts and draws checks for approved Chapter purposes. Ensures appropriate
additional signatory authority is established to assure continuity of financial operations. (d) Forwards National
dues to the Treasurer of the National Association. (e) Presents the financial records for an annual audit to the
President. (f) Assumes other duties as assigned by the President. (g) Secures chapter rebates for the program
year.

Online Ethics Courses:
NCMA offers seven online LRN Legal Compliance and Ethics (LCE) course packages to help contract professionals make
legal and ethically appropriate decisions in today's highly scrutinized business environment.







Certificate of Introductory Business Ethics for Federal Contracting
Certificate of Advanced Business Ethics for Federal Contracting
Certificate of Protection of Intellectual Property
Certificate of Introductory Business Ethics of International Contracting
Certificate of Advanced Business Ethics of International Contracting
Certificate of Corporate Governance
Certificate of Critical Business Vulnerabilities
At the completion of each course, participants are given a ten-question, graded and tracked review quiz that allows
them to test their comprehension and demonstrate mastery of the knowledge necessary to earn the Certificate of Ethics
Education. Participants earn five continuing professional education (CPE) hours for completion of the certificate.
Participants have 90 days to complete one course package. Each course takes approximately 40-90 minutes to
complete.

All About NCMA certifications
The CPCM, CFCM and CCCM are certifications awarded to candidates who meet rigorous tandards,
including experience, education, training, and knowledge. They are professional designation of
distinction, and carry the respect of their peers in the profession. NCMA certifications are
competency- based, legally-defensible and are based on psychometrically sound objective
examination of knowledge. The NCMA professional certification program is designed to elevate
professional standards, enhance individual performance and distinguish those who demonstrate
knowledge essential to the proactive of contract management.
Types of Designations
The are now three designations: CPCM, CFCM and CCCM
CPCM: The Certified Professional Contracts Manager certification shows that you are
knowledgeable about all facets of contract management, within both the government and the
commercial arenas.
CFCM: The Certified Federal Contracts Manager certification shows that you are knowledgeable
about the government regulatory environment.
CCCM: The Certified Commercial Contracts Manager certification shows that you are
knowledgeable about the practice of contract management in the commercial environment.
