SAMPLE PATHWAY: ENVIRONMENTAL CHANGE The rates, causes and extent of change in our environment and the contribution of human activity are current topics of intense debate and investigation. However, this planet has experienced change throughout its' 4.6 billion year history. This pathway allows you to explore the evolution of the different components of the Earth system across both geological and archaeological time scales and use this information to inform the debate on how the effects of human activity can be managed effectively. Students must select Physical Geography, Archaeology and either Geology or Soil Science in Part 1.
