A-Steps to do before Installing .
---------------------------------------1. This Installation package is for Systems running
XP/2000.
2.The package is meant to install on those systems that
doesn't have MySQL and Tomcat.
3.If you are already running MySQL then back up the databases in a safe location on your hard
disk.
4.You may refer to MYSQL manual for backing up the databases.
B-Installing OpeneNRICH V4.0.
---------------------------------------1. If you are viewing this document, you will also find
OpeneNRICHSetup.exe program.
2. Double Click the Setup program.
3. Follow the steps in the Installation Program and complete the Installation.
C-Running OpeneNRICHV4.0
------------------------------------1. Click Start-> Programs->OpeneNRICH ->Start OpeneNRICH Tomcat.
Alternatively You can click the
Start OpeneNRICH Tomcat Icon in the Desktop.
2.You will see a dos window opening with some server messages. Ref Fig 1 Below.

3. DO NOT CLOSE this window as this is the SERVER WINDOW
for your OpeneNRICH Application.Just minimize it.
4.After Starting the OpeneNRICH Tomcat, Click
Start-> Programs->OpeneNRICH
->View OpeneNRICH
Alternatively you can click the View OpeneNRICH Icon
in the Desktop
5.You can also open your Internet Explorer/FireFox
Browser and type
http://localhost:8080/eNRICH in the address bar and click GO.
5.You will see the Application at your Browser window.If it is the first time you are running Open
eNRICH then the following Setup screen appears. Ref Fig 2

Fill in the Setup Screen as shown below.Refer Fig 3 and 4

After Completing the Setup Screen Click Submit Button.
Now you will see a screen as below Ref Fig 5

After you see this screen. Just close the browser window.
And open afresh browser window and Type http://localhost:8080/eNRICH
Now you will see the eNRICH Screen as shown below. Ref Fig 6

Now you can refer to the Help Manual provided in the down load screen of open eNRICH
Alternatively get the help manual from
http://www.enrich.nic.in/ and go to Product/Artifacts/Product Documentation. Ref Fig 7

The guest user will be available only if you choose UNESCO
portal page.
