This course intends to instill an understanding of mathematics in those
students who do not intend or are not ready study calculus. Topics include:
logic, sets, probability, matrices, and linear programming.
PREREQUISITES: MVCC Math Placement Exam or MVCC Elementary

Quizzes and Tests
Homework: Homework will be assigned every day. It is due at the
beginning of class and will be checked for completion each day.
Materials:
Notebook, folder, graphing calculator
Absences:
It is your responsibility to get any missed work, and you have
one day for each day you were absent to complete the
assignments.
Conduct:
Be on time and prepared for class every day. Show you
teacher, your peers, and yourself respect at all times.
