Grew up down the street in Mt. Greenwood but live in the western suburbs currently
M.A. in Rhetoric and Composition from NEIU
B.A. from UIC, double major in English and psychology
Third year at MVCC
Taught 2 years prior to MVCC at Kishwaukee College
Before that another 2 years part-time at Waubonsee
Community College
Worked in the IT/management consulting industry during that time in knowledge management, communications, and corporate education
Taught English as a foreign language in Japan
As a teacher, I hold my students to high standards of excellence, but I will do all that I can to help them succeed
