Re-new collections
Council is again calling on residents to round up their unwanted and reusable household
goods to give them a new lease on life.
Area 1 collection dates: 3 December to 7 December
Area 2 collection dates: 10 December to 14 December
Re-new offers households the chance to recycle textiles, household items, printer cartridges
and mobile phones from their doorstep. It is an extension of the existing kerbside collection
service, helping to further reduce the amount of household waste going to landfill and
encourage recycling.
Last year we collected 218 tonnes (approximately one million items) of reusable goods that did
not go to landfill.
