A student’s program of study must be approved by either the Director of the Visual Arts Program (Studio courses) or the Photography Coordinator (Digital courses), and the minor must be declared by the end of the sophomore year. Core Courses: 371.131 Studio Drawing I *if a waiver was provided for Studio Drawing I, students are to take one (1) additional Studio course as their core course: . Visual Arts Minor Updated 11/03/14 1 Restrictions: Two visual arts courses at MICA may count towards the minor, with advance approval of the appropriate advisor, and as long as they are not offered at JHU. One independent study course in the visual arts may count towards the minor. One visual arts course at a JHU-affiliated study abroad program may be counted towards the minor with, advance approval of the appropriate advisor. Program requirements may not be taken Satisfactory / Unsatisfactory. A grade of C- or better must be earned in all minor requirements.
