A. Quarterly Newsletter Committee which will publish a quarterly newsletter to be provided to community members. Goal #2: Catholic Identity: St. Clement’s Regional Catholic School will work to strengthen its identity as a parish school and better integrate the relationship between the parish and the school in order to increase opportunities for families, staff, and students to participate in prayer, worship, service, and community building. Objective #1: A. Maintenance of a Catholic Identity Committee chaired by a School Board member and consisting of representatives from the school staff, parents, and parish community. B. At regularly scheduled School Board meetings, the Catholic Identity will submit a report. Objective #2: To increase the school-parish connection, the school will: A. sponsor “fellowship” after Sunday Mass once-a-month (and/or on special occasions); students will participate as greeters, gift bearers, altar servers, singers B. a monthly bulletin insert will be included in the parish bulletin and distributed to neighboring parishes to update parishioners on school happenings C. invite parishioners to school-sponsored prayer opportunities such as “The Living Rosary,” The Stations of the Cross, monthly school liturgies D. collaborate with the Faith Formation Director to evaluate and select appropriate religion curriculum materials including the catechism of the Catholic Church Objective #3: To increase opportunities for school-wide prayer, we will A. open each day with a Morning Prayer Assembly in the gym to which parents are B. Evaluate the master plan on an annual basis, prioritize projects based on need and financial ability B. Provide at least three bids for major planned projects Objective #3: To formulate a directory of services (i.e. companies and contacts) for administration and custodians to utilize Objective #4: To seek opportunities to expand the basic structural footprint as enrollment increases Goal #4: Finances: St. Clement’s Regional Catholic School will maintain a comprehensive financial plan that ensures the continued viability of the school by exploring new revenue sources while working to keep tuition affordable Objective #1: To maintain a finance committee which consists of representatives of the administration as well as school community and has a School Board member as a liaison who reports to the School Board at regularlyscheduled meetings Objective #2: To monitor and provide guidance to each of the school’s fundraising organizations to ensure proper accounting controls over cash and cash disbursements Objective #3: To work with the principal to review monthly revenue and expense figures and to advise the administration in financial matters Objective #4: To work with the administration to develop an annual budget Objective #5: To evaluate and, as needed, obtain input from all relevant committees that impact the budget Goal #5: Development: St. Clement’s Regional Catholic School will commit the resources necessary to maintain the development program which will work to generate new sources of annual, capital, and endowed revenue in order to ensure the effectiveness of existing programs and to develop new programs while maintaining an affordable tuition rate. In addition, as St. Clement’s Regional Catholic School is a tuition-driven institution, the Development Committee will continue to work closely with the Enrollment Committee to further increase enrollment.
