DIRECTOR OF ENROLLMENT MANAGEMENT OVERALL RESPONSIBILITY The director of Enrollment Management reports to the President of the school and is a member of the school’s Cabinet. The Director is responsible for providing creative vision and dynamic oversight for all student recruitment operations, managing all re-enrollment and retention efforts, and achieving strategic goals by enrolling mission exemplary students. SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES ADMISSIONS 1. Direct and oversee Central Catholic High School’s student recruitment efforts that results in meeting targeted goals in enrolled students. 2. Coordinate and execute effective student recruitment events including but not limited to Open House, Parent Information Night, School Tours and Shadows, and participating in local community events. 3. Oversees the organization and administration of the high school placement test. 4. Organizes and supports the Chair of the Enrollment Management Committee and supervisors the enrollment process while maintaining the applicant pool as necessary to optimize the size of the school. 5. Organizes and directs recruitment efforts for our International Student Program. As needed, works closely with local representatives to find housing for International Students. 6. Organizes and oversees the Student Marketing Team to promote and provide information to support students, parents and community in marketing Central Catholic High School. 7. Serves as a primary marketing liaison for parent organizations including but not limited to Parent Teacher Group and Boosters. 8. Serves as the spokesperson for the school. 9. Serve as gate keeper for all publications and graphic designs for brand standards insuring that graphic and editorial for brand, identify and logos are maintained. COMMUNICATIONS 1. Develop a comprehensive communications plan for the school, which conveys a compelling and consistent message from pre-enrollment through alumni through a variety of vehicles including print publications, web, e-newsletters, email, advertising, media relations and the use of social networking sites. 2. Write, edit and oversee the design, production and distribution of all external publications for the school including but not limited to the monthly newsletter (The Issue) weekly e-newsletters, and the Annual Report. 3. Produce a variety of publications including brochures, e-newsletters, flyers, programs, scripts and postcards including writing, editing and proof reading content, art direction, overseeing printing and distribution. Work with the Cabinet Team to produce the Annual School Handbook and Calendar. 4. Seek opportunities for local media; write and distribute press releases and calendar announcements. 5. Assist with writing scripts for special events such as the President’s Breakfast, Senior Ethics Day, Career Day, Swing for Central and BASH. 6. Conduct annual survey of school’s publications to generate best practices for Central Catholic High School communication tools. 7. Manage timing and content of communications in order to maximize outreach with current and prospective families, the alumni community and the broader community. 8. Serves as web-site content editor, providing the vision for web communication and design. Work with enteral groups and departments to gather and organize web content. 9. Serve as Press Secretary to the President, Principal and Development Director by facilitating media interviews, identifying opportunities for public speaking and commentary and assisting with speech writing. MANAGEMENT 1. Support and participate in all aspects of the Schools strategic planning processes. 2. Supervise the admissions process and communications including the creation of annual goals. 3. Develop and manage the admissions and communications annual budget, meeting goals and objectives of the program with budget restrictions. 4. Attend all Cabinet Team meetings and Retreats. 5. Serve as delegate of the President and Principal in interrupting the schools mission, philosophy and instructional program. 6. Participate in meetings of school’s committees, Foundation Board of Trustees, School Board and Corporate Board. 7. Perform additional duties as assigned by the President. 8. Archive and manage all photos “non-yearbook” for school. WORK YEAR To Be Determined SALARY Classified Management QUALIFICATIONS Superb writing, editing and proof reading skills. Experience in the direct management of staff in a goal driven environment. Experience and comfort with facilitation of committee meetings, preparing presentations and speaking effectively in a variety of public forums. Strong experience in operational and strategic planning, organizational management, and personnel mentoring. Experience in Catholic schools is advantageous. Commitment to Catholic education and the development of youth. Working knowledge of web design and content management. Working knowledge of social media including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter and Linked In. Demonstrated ability to coordinate and manage a variety of tasks and deadlines. Demonstrated experience developing a budget and monetary expenditures. Demonstrated knowledge of event planning, public relations and marketing principles and practices. Demonstrated skill in the use of Desk Top publishing and word processing including word, excel and PowerPoint. Knowledge of research methodology, interrupting results and data analysis. Willingness to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends. Desired Qualification: Bachelor’s degree with 3-5 years of experience in marketing, communications and/or admissions. Ability to work cohesively and independently on complex projects. Ability to establish cooperative, tack full, effective and harmonious working relationships with a diverse group of individuals, ranging from administration, board members, faculty, staff, volunteers and the general public. Ability to effectively work under pressure is flexible, use independent judgment and produce quality work within tight time constraints. Ability to respond to sensitive matters and situations with discretions and tack. Ability to bring energy, creativity, professionalism and community relations expertise that will make a substantial impact on special events while enhancing the image and positive relationships of the school.
