I.U. School of Social Work Labor Studies Program ADMISSION APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS Who is eligible to apply to the School of Social Work Labor Studies Program? All qualified high school graduates Persons with a General Education Diploma (GED) Certificate holders Students admitted to Indiana University Students who have completed at least 12 college credits of course work International students Directions: Step 1: You must first apply and be accepted as a student at IUPUI. Step 2: Contact the institution of your highest academic achievement (high school or college) and formally request that your latest transcript be sent to the IU campus to which you are applying. Transcripts must be mailed directly from the institution and carry the institutional seal. An official transcript from each College or University you have ever attended, unless I.U. is the only Institution you have attended. Step 3: Write a double spaced 300-500 word essay where you discuss and analyze a labor issue of importance to you. Step 4: Submit three letters of recommendation Step 5: Complete the Labor Studies application form and submit to the address listed below. Submit your application for consideration and acceptance to the School of Social Work Labor Studies Program during any academic semester. Please submit your application at least one month prior to the semester you are planning to enroll for full consideration. Your application will be reviewed by the Labor Studies Admissions Committee. You will be notified by mail no later than one month after the Admissions Committee decision is made. International Students The Office of International Affairs is located at 902 W.
