Office of the Associate Provost and Dean of Research Faculty Position Announcement Non-Tenure Track Position Administrative Associate The Office of the Associate Provost and Dean of Research at the Naval Postgraduate School invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure track position as Administrative Associate with a duty location of the Washington, DC area. The NPS mission is to provide relevant and unique advanced education and research programs in order to increase the combat effectiveness of U.S. and Allied armed forces and enhance the security of the United States. In support of this mission, the incumbent will interface Advanced Concept Technology Demonstrations (ACTD) programs with OSD-ATL and support NPS East Coast Education programs in Systems Analysis, Intelligence and Information & Computer Science. In addition, the incumbent will support faculty research efforts in ISR with the USMC and Navy Laboratories. The incumbent will also provide East Coast administrative support to the DOD SMART Scholarship Program (NPS as Executive Agent) as a primary contact to NRL and the Warfighting Laboratories. This is a non-tenure track administrative faculty position and reports to the Associate Provost/ Dean of Research. Requirements: 1. Experience in program management of high-level programs within the Department of Defense (DoD) including OSD-ATL. 2. Experience in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with program managers, administrators, technical support personnel in DoD and industry. 3. Experience with DoD Advanced Concept Technology Demonstrations Programs (ACTD). 4. Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred.
